BULLETIN: DJ's Brass Service..

In the "BULLETIN" there is a GREAT article about what Darrell Jones does with brass. I have had Darrell do quite a bit of work for me, especially with his "Hydro-forming" process. Recently, I had Darrel do 200 pieces of 6mmBR to turn them into 6 Dasher. I also had him turn the necks down to 12K neck wall thickness, anneal the brass and clean them up. They were so good that the first time I used them in competition (600 yard F-Open) I shot a 599-43X's. This is with "Straight From Darrel" NON-2nd Fireformed brass! The amount of time consumed prepping the brass, burning the barrel up with fireforming, and component usage, I feel his prices are nearly a wash to what it would cost you to do it yourself, FORGET your time spent in brass preparation! GREAT article and GREAT brass service!

Good Morning,

I recently had a similar experience with DJ's brass service. I mailed him 200 pieces of 6BR brass on a Monday, and received 200 pieces of Dasher brass on the following Monday. I haven't shot them yet, but they look great. Service like this is something that I don't see to much anymore.

Wow I didn't know he hydro formed too!! I just spent two hours filling 22-250 lupua brass with cream of wheat and made my fingers sore mashing paper in them!! What do they charge for that?

You won't find a nicer, more knowledgeable guy to deal with than Darrell. And no pussy footing in regard to quick turn around. Everything he's done for me has been AAA+ quality.

Only hydro froms 3 calibers. Darn I guess I will just need to buy a die my self.

Call whidden if you need a die or if its something darrell may use on somebody besides you he may work something out with you.
