Thats a good picture of your tensioned barrel.
If you don't mind my asking what is the purpose of the metal cylinder in the thumbhole of your stock?

Tell us more about the rifle. I know many readers would be interested in the barrel system, stock configuration, and how you went about tuning the whole thing.

OK. I have some 6/4,inch and a half) Brazilian Cherry, aka Jatoba, left over from my kitchen island I built a few years ago. The stuff is really pretty but Lord it is heavy. My 4 ft X 8 ft island top weighs over 300 pounds.
You assistance would be appreciated. I won't have to knock something up in the shed will I? I've raised my share of kids....
Thanks....
gunamonth said:Sorry Jeff. It's the old "Two countries separated by a common language" problem. To "knock up" here in the colonies means to get a woman pregnant. At my age, with all the kids and grandkids I have, this would not be good.
I really like the design since it folds flat and then can be adjusted to the same height as the port. The only question I have at this time is how you keep the tension constant so it stays at the correct level.
Also curious about the plastic dish under the rifle. I use one for my Stiller drop port and wonder if that's what yours is for.
Thanks.....
