Bullet Blow-Up

Here's one for you. If, say you are shooting an F-Class match at 1000 yards and you have a bullet disintegrate on its way to the target. How is that shot scored? Do you just take the shot over or is it scored a miss?

A bullet blow-up is scored as a miss. I had a bullet exit the side of the barrel -- still a miss.

miss if a bullet blows-up.

If you fire at the target and do not score a hit it is definately a Miss how else could you score it. A gust of wind catches a shot throwing it wide of the target do you claim a blow up and shoot that one again don`t think so.
Don`t thik there is a Mulligans in shooting is there

My scorer and another guy saw one of my bullets blow up about 300 to 400 yards out the other day at practice. I was just wondering.
What if you have a bad primer and you pull the trigger and nothing happens?

Well by our rules here you let the range officer know wait the required time in case of a hang-fire eject the cartridge and finish your fireing and as that round did not fire you get to have that shot but if you stuffed up and didn't put the right amount of powder and it fired and landed halfway up range so sad but it fired so is counted as a miss. I think the rules need to be looked into does it say so many rounds on the scoring target or fired may be a loop hole that if you miss the target you get to put another round on the target, Grey area needs to be clarified.
I am not sure on the rules to that particular shoot are you allowed to take extra rounds to the fireing line.
I know in bench-rest score shooting if a shooter fired a round and for some reason it did not hit the target he could shoot again and in group i have been known to shoot six rounds coz something has distracted me or i have had to go back to the sighter or some other reason and haven't been sure i had 5 shots in my group so fire the extra to be sure it is fine if you have 6 but cannot be scored if you only have 4
