Built a New Gun Cart

Shooting Cowboy Action you need a cart to haul the guns and gear from one stage to another. It was time for a new, updated cart. Banged this one out this week.

Like the wooden gun cases. I assume they are removable? Should do the job. I would need a place for my shooting jacket and sweater plus a way to attach my 5' spotting scope stand and scope. Does it break down or fold some how to get it into the back of an SUV?

Thanks....Yes, once the gun boxes are removed it folds down and the wheels can be removed to make it even more compact

Back when my rifle team would make the trip from Texas to Camp Perry we started having having an annual range cart-buggy building contest. It was nearly as fun as competing.

I made my cart from a golf cart. David Tubb had one with an electric motor on it. George Tubb had one made by GM. It was called a suburban. That was my idea of a great cart.

I saw a guy at my local range who was real proud of a used stroller he'd purchased off Craiglist, and clamped on a couple of ATV style gun rests. It worked, but I don't know if I'm "secure enough" to roll out to a match with something like that.

This is one I've had for years.
It was made to fold and be pulled by hand. My range is only about 300 yards from the house. I modified it to be towed, a storage compartment, and an umbrella.

Very neat, the shade is a good idea just need to strap a portable chair to it and I’m done..
