Thanks Wade! Big congrats to Stephen Potter and John Myers on their amazing shooting all week! Also thanks to Mid, Michelle, Nancy, Matt, Emil and all the other staff that made this the premier match in the country!Congrats to teammate Cody Richardson on his 3rd place finish (from the Master class no less)! Super shooting!
Congrats to all the winners and shooters that shot well this week.
These matches do not allow muzzle brakes.I and my shooting partner drove out to the shoot on Wednesday. Just to check it out. Fantastic experience and we met a woman, Nancy, who answered many of our questions. But one- what does 'any rifle, any sight mean? Both my rifles, 6.5CMs, are scoped and have muzzle brakes on them. Could I compete in the event, and category, 'any rifle/any sight' with these?

Any/any is not part of F class. It’s in the sling category. You shoot on the larger sling target. However, you also have to shoot in the standard prone position without any rest. It allows the use of other cartridges, besides 308 or 223. It also allows a scope vs the high end target open sights.Thank you both, Big D and Rardoin. I was pretty sure that even though there was a category 'any rifle/any sight' that MBs were still not allowed. I read F-Class rules (I think posted for me in another thread and by Rardoin, months ago) but did not read anything about AR/AS. Surprised they are not allowed given some of the shooting acroutements that are. But understand that any competition has rules which evolved for a reason. I suspect with MBs it is because of the muzzle blast and its affect on the neighboring shooters.
