BSA rifle trigger adjustment?i

Have a new /old BSA rifle in .222 caliber.
Would like to adjust the trigger weight.
The rifle is of the 1970/1980 area, called BSA Hunter with a box like trigger, with an adjustment screw in front of the trigger and one in the front of the trigger box.
Would like to know if the trigger is adjustable, and if so would like directions to do so.

You may have better luck posting on the gunsmith forum on www.accuratereloading.com. Lots of folks there that are famaliar with the BSA.

If you can check out Frank de Hass book Bolt action rifles . Im pretty sure he covers that in his book.
