BRX NECK DIA.?

Thinking of having a reamer ground for 6BRX and was wondering what to make the neck. Really not wanting to mess with turning necks on my cases. Is there a load-n-shoot way to go with the BRX? Thanks.

Using Lapua brass go with a .272 no-turn neck reamer. Load-n-shoot right out of the box for fireforming and then use a bushing die for neck sizing then on.

welldone,
I had my reamer ground for a .269 neck so I could do a lite clean up on the new blue box brass but it will chamber just fine with out turning but it is tighter then desired, about .0007 clearance I personally have had no problems with doing it but not recommending it and it wouldn't work with the older thicker card board brass! I would do a .271 with this new thinner brass myself for a no turn fit. Dave Kiff made my reamer with a .269 neck and .104 free bore, next time I would go more on the free bore, probably .030-.050 more I am shooting the 107 smk's
Wayne.

Had my 6BRX reamer done with a .270" chamber neck, specifically for the new blue box Lapua 6BR. My loaded rounds are measuring .2665"/ .267" unturned.
