BRX cartridge overall length

I need a "trim to" length for the 6mm BRX case. It has to be shorter than the 6mm BR because of all the neck that is enlarged to case diameter, but I can't find anything anywhere on it. I'm thinking somewhere in the 1.535 area?

1.553 is my guess. Hows that look thru a borescope?

1.535 to 1.550 after forming and resizing. Problem is the case mouth isn't square so that's why I want to trim OAL. I'm not sure the COAL is that critical but I do want to square it up.

How did you form them? Thats a huge range and short on top of that. 1.563 is my brx reamer oal and i like .010 room

Jam and fire with 30 gr. Varget. Was thinking that the BRX shouldn't be any longer than the dasher or maybe a couple thou. shorter if anything. https://forum.accurateshooter.com/threads/hydroformed-dasher-trim-length.4006801/

Doyou have the reamer print? Like Dusty said .010” shorter than the reamer. Mine are trimmed to 1.555”.

if you don’t have the print average them out and trim to get most to clean up. The BRX will grow a bit and in a few firings you can trim again.

I trim to 1.555 every firing.

I had the same problem. Till I remembered the 6BRX has the same case length as a 6BR! Only the neck length is different.

Trimmed everything to 1.535. It didn't clean up half the cases but it'll have to do for now. Maybe they'll grow some. I checked a chambered case with the Teslong borescope and it has plenty of room to grow! Wonder why the BRX chamber is the same as the BR when the cases are obviously shorter after fireforming? Apparently the Dasher has a shorter chamber?

That's what I'm not getting. If dasher brass is shorter then why isn't BRX? They're similar and formed from the same case. If you take brass out of the neck to form the body then the overall length has to decrease. That's why I was wondering if someone had a measurement. I just used the dasher measurement and I think it will be fine. If it doesn't work I'll let you know but it may be Spring before I find out.

6 BRX reamer print that I have. I haven't used this reamer. I bought it off of this site. This one is1.565 before trimming.
