try putting something into your cart to see they are charging for shipping and Hazmat. To the east coast was $84. Natchez was $35

You are not understanding how this works. We do not always get in "direct from manufacturer" shipments. We have powder on order from every place that will accept a backorder. Which means that we have to pay shipping and haz-mat fees just to get product. Also, the $84.00 is shipping and haz-mat in one total amount.

It has always amazed me that those who have never run a small business , have no idea about purchase costs for inventory for that small business , as compared to purchase costs for a larger outlet like PV or Natchez . They can order ; and receive pallets of powder , at a lower purchase price , from suppliers , than say , a Bruno's . Because they are buying in volume , and are automatically placed higher on the pecking order by that supplier . And the supplier still maintains their "MARGIN OF PROFIT". Though Bruno's is a "Known" supplier in our sport , their facility could probably fit inside the lunch-room of Natchez or PV . So having the ability to order and store large amounts of "YOUR" favorite item , so "YOU" get the best price is not always conducive . It doesn't necessarily mean their gouging . Just trying to maintain "THEIR" margin of PROFIT" , so they can stay in business . Natchez and PV get powder by the trailer load . Bruno's get theirs by a pallet or two at a time . Go figure ... And Bruno's does sell more than just powder & primers . Lots more . Bottom line is : You don't like their prices ? Don't buy from them . But a night-class on Business Economics wouldn't hurt , either .

I've dealt with Bruno's for many years. But, after seeing the jacked prices of powders in the emails, they sent me, I will No Longer Be a Customer. They go into the pile with Cheaper Than Dirt. So did Midway, when they tried selling CCI #35 50 BMG Primers for $499.99 per 500 primers. I just bought 6500 of them for $100 per 500 ea.

I believe in these companies should make some profit, but giving their customers the "Shaft" is One Sure Way to lose my business for Good.

I understand what you are saying. My issue, is I stated, is the $84.00 shipping and HazMat charges compared to the Powder Valley fees of $33.90.

I completely understand what you're sayin Pat . A few months ago , I ordered a carbide expander from a very reputable tool company , widely known on this site . The price was quoted to me , on a phone order , and I would not be charged till it was shipped . When it got shipped , I was Billed almost double the stated price , and after calling to find out , WTF ? The supplier told me that "His" contractor had raised his prices on him , and he had no option , unless I wanted to cancel the order . I wanted the expander , so I bit the bullet , HARD sometimes stuff just happens beyond our control . Not making excuses for anyone . Shit happens .
