Bruno Shooters Supply

Has anyone bought from them before?? Are they reputable? Thanks
I bought a Redding TiN bushing from them that was advertised as "new". It arrived in non-factory, generic zip lok with no factory paperwork. I called them and they said they "repackage" as standard procedure, with no explanation why. I ran a case through it and it scratched the case neck badly. This was obviously a used bushing that they hadn't even bothered to clean. They expected me to pay $5 shipping so they could inspect a $25 item.
I personally would never do business with them again, but your experience may be different.

I bought a seating stem that was unobtainable everywhere. I put it in my shopping cart and went to checkout. S&H $13.95. Not a problem, I submitted the order.

The stem arrived in a padded envelope with actual postage printed, two or three bucks. I checked the invoice and my CC charge. They didn't charge the standard $13.95, only the actual cost of shipping. Most companies wouldn't do that.

I think, as to the beloved shooting sports, a better word for Bruno’s than just reputable, is indispensable. There is no more complete a resource for match shooters who load for themselves, build and maintain their own guns, anywhere.

i would rather him stay in business. I look at his web site and dicide if I want what he has. We have a gun store here that wants 170.00 per 1000 primers. I decided to leave with out them.

Its my choice !

Sooo was it the correct size for your application ?

Bruni is five miles from me. I'm over there frequently. I've been buying from him for 22 years. Sometimes the price is a bit high based on big market demands but he has saved my bacon more than once. He has given me advice from time to time and tossed me a few freebies/discounts over the years.

He has been slammed with his Internet business and is shipping out huge amounts of goodies to the hinterlands.

Exactly. To each his own which is why he won’t make any more money off of me.

I try real hard to make judicious decisions regarding purchases from many of our suppliers these days. Lester has maybe been less than accommodating with some of his prices but there have been occasions where I found he had what I needed in stock and at a reasonable price, too. Since I hate driving into Phoenix, I try to combine trips down there with my purchases from his store for the sake of economy. I place my order for pick up and they text me when I can come in to pick it up, saves on HAZMAT! I pay online so it's just a matter of grabbing the boxes and heading out. Simple. Maybe it isn't for some folks and so be it, we all have the right to make choices.:)

Bruno's may be higher sometimes but has been solid to me and good to hear he did that.

Some vendors don't realize the credibility they lose when they pull shenanigans with shipping. I won't buy from Impact Databooks again because of him charging $12.00 for Priority shipping on some tiny round count books and then actually shipping Flat Rate for $3. In that case he did not refund anything and when I asked him about it he argued that he gives away a lot at prize tables and in raffles (Which has nothing to do with overcharging shipping and pocketing the difference).

I believe it was 2012 or 2013 the last time I ordered from him. I was charged nearly double hazardous material cost of other places on the internet, quite expensive shipping, and a premium for the components I had ordered. The extensive shipping charges weren't listed at check-out, rather it was a much lower "estimate". I ended up paying nearly double going price for the components I ordered between the premium and shipping charges. There never was an explanation for such extensive hazmat being charged vs other vendors. I haven't purchased from Bruno since then. I usually look other vendors first and honestly can't remember visiting the page since. I just don't like surprise charges.

Prior to that, I had made several orders for barrels with no issues.

Bruno's is a Mom & Pop shop, not a giant with a marching army of staff.

Once you have lived long enough to know the ins and outs of doing business in general, then you start to understand that there are big differences in how you approach issues with different kinds of businesses.

If you know of a good supplier, then take care of them. When they are gone you will miss them.

I bought my Rem 700, SS Short "Lefty", action, some Sierra and Berger Bullets and 200 Rounds of, Norma
6 XC Brass ( 2 Sales and both went,.. WELL ! )
Got lucky as it was, just before, the C-19 Pandemic was noticed much and hoarding, was, getting,.. HOT !
They notified me that, it WOULD Ship in a couple of, Days and IT ,.. DID !
