Browning X Bolt Max 7PRC

So I picked up a Browning X Bolt Max in 7 PRC two days ago. It was marked down to $589, but the owner of the shop said he'd let it go for $500 because they ordered it back in 2024 and it had been sitting on the shelf since then. I installed a mount, and Silencer Co. ACS muzzle brake on it.... The problem is, I'm almost afraid to shoot it, lol. I haven't shot anything with significant recoil in over 20 years. So for those more knowledgeable than myself, how harsh is the recoil of the 7 PRC? I know the muzzle brake will help a lot, but I also know that muzzle brake manufacturers often make claims about reduction that just aren't accurate.

If your just shooting at the range you can fill the forearm part of the stock with glass epoxy and do the same in the back. Just balance out the rear. I have the savage trailhunter with a thunderbeast 9. As stated above Manageable.

I’ve got a Weatherby Alpine CT in 7PRC, weighs just over 6 pounds for just the rifle. It leaves no doubt that you just fired a shot, but recoil is very reasonable using the included muzzle brake. According to Browning your rifle weighs about 2 pounds more than mine, it should be very reasonable. The internet says 7PRC and 30-06 are similar in recoil. I shot my uncles Savage in 7PRC, that did not have a muzzle brake, and the difference in recoil was noticeably more without the brake.

My guess is once I add a scope, and bipod the weight will be roughly 10 pounds, so recoil should be reasonable.
