Browning T-bolt .17 HMR range trip **VIDEO**

So my big plans today were to hit the range with my Browning T-bolt .17 HMR and try some long range shooting with it.

I have seen some videos and stories floating around showing people shooting out to 800 yards with the .17 HMR.

Well.....I wanted to see for myself if I myself could accomplish such a feat. Unfortunately when I got to the range the wind was blowing 20-30 mph. That kinda put a damper on any chance of hitting anything past about 200 yards or so.

So I ended up doing some 100 and 200 yard shooting just to show how the rifle shoots.

Great video Stan. Love the rifle, i am a big thumbhole stock fan. I was looking a couple months back for a squirrel rifle to use and came across 3 of those in a gun store not far from me. They where in 3 different calibers. I have not ever owned a Browning before and was a little scared to plunk down some cash on 1. I was supprised how light it was and it fit me like a glove. If i remember he said they were a special run and where not making anymore of them. Not sure but that is what he said. The price tag was a little hefty for what he was wanting for them but they where very nicely put together. Going back up their to get some powder and primers, maybe he still has them and maybe i will come home with 1. Was the trigger adjustable on that or are you shooting it the way it came.

Hello.
They are nice rifles. This is the first Browning rifle I have ever owned.
The triggers are adjustable, but will only come down to about 3 1/2 to 4 lbs. But they do break clean and mine has little to no creep in it.

They are pricey, but are really fun to shoot. Amber paid about $800 for this one I believe.

Stan, do you know how the barrel and action mate together. I was curios and wondering if it is threaded on their. Thanks....DAN....

Hi Dan.
I had it out of the stock (barreled action) to adjust the trigger but did not pay attention. But now looking at it it does look like it is threaded to the action.

Take care,Stan
