Browning bar mk3 accuracy

I have been working up loads for a bar and the best I can get at 100yds is about a inch and a half. I wake tried 130 Sirocco and 140 Barnes classic hunters both get to about 1.5 and that is it. The node is very small also. It shoots and half grain more ire less goes to about 3 inches. What groups do you get out of tour bars

They’re deer guns. 1.5 is usually enough for a deer gun. What cartridge is it?
I bought one in 308, but I haven’t shot it yet. I always wanted one. High gloss finish on some pretty wood. I always seem to grab my old beater instead so I don’t ding up a new gun. I should just sell it.

If it’s a 270, try 130 gr Nosler BTs and IMR 4064. It worked great in my Belgian BAR. About an inch was the best I could do.

Zero load work up in a mk2 safari. Just tossed a 150 on a garand safe load of 4895 D43838E5-D900-43C8-9AD8-333A96D81070.jpeg

I do not own a mk3 so I’ve never loaded for one but I bet you can do better, not sure how much work it will take and if it’s worth it though.

What powder are you using?
