Browning BAR barrel swap

I new here so bare with me. I have a Browning BAR 270 I would like to install a new factory barrel on. Which is the best action wrench to fit the BAR? I have a Wheeler barrel vise which has worked ok in the past on other factory barrel swaps. Where is the best location on the barrel to clamp? Right next to the receiver?? This measures 1.204, the largest block has a 1" hole, do I bore the blank to somewhere over 1"?
Any help would be appeciated!!!!

I have heard of 2 people trying to take barrels off of BARs and both ended with bent recievers. Might want to give browning a call and ask them.
