Browning 22-250

Does anyone have experience with Browning's customer service? I ordered a xbolt varmint special a few weeks ago. They did a limited run for last years shot show. I love the rifle, but after I got it I saw horrors in the throat. It looks like a large chip got stuck on the pilot for the reamer when the chamber was cut. There's a big gouge in the bore and the rifling has several gouges all the way around for the first 1/4" of the bore. I admit that the gun shot okay, but I couldn't get past what I knew was there. I was concerned about shortened barrel life & the value of the gun if I ever decided to sell it or trade it so I sent it back. I had a smith take a look at it & he thought I was being a little paranoid, but at the same time he said he'd be pissed off too since it wasn't done right. I was just wondering if anyone had ever dealt with Browning on something they screwed up when the rifle was made. I got a free UPS label to ship it back. I'm just concerned that they will either a. do nothing or b. take 5 months to change out a barrel. The only info I found on Browning & the Arnold, MO facility was bad experiences related to shotguns. Any feedback or thoughts would be appreciated.
