Brownells Credova?

Anyone happen to use the financing deal Brownells offers as a credit building deal ?I never really spend past $200 every few months there and was thinking it would be a nice way to build my credit score a little when I buy some primers, powder, ect. Always hear people talking about getting a credit card using it to buy a pizza or something and toss it in a drawer till they want another and just doing that as a credit building deal and figured this could be something similar....just with reloading supplies lol. But figured I'd ask before I went at it. So is it a good deal orrr ?
Thanks !

Don’t use credova. It’s a really rough credit card. I used it one time for a scope purchase since I would get a discount on eurooptic for using it. I paid it off within 3 days after reading the fine print. But I had to pay a “service fee” for paying it off early. If you look at the payment plan you’re essentially paying double for the product. You only have like 2 weeks to pay it off early and if you don’t then you’re locked into the contract for the duration of the payment plan. If you miss one payment they will immediately send collections after you. There’s no grace period. Its all in the contract they send.

Glad I asked! Thanks a ton!

Why would you need a credit card?
The fraud protection is very useful. I’ve had usps lose optics, sign for them as delivered and no one would believe me but my CC company who refunded me. I’ve had stock manufacturers go bankrupt with my money (JAE) and no one does shit for you, but my CC company refunded me.

the last check I used to buy gun hobby items with was to a silver member here and guess who doesn’t have his item or his money?

won’t happen again CC or in person only.

Op, I would look into either a secured credit card or speak with the bank you use about getting one. Pay it off every month, use it sparingly and build it with time. It takes time but not a crazy amount. Especially if you don’t mess up and run it up and start paying interest.
