Brownells bluing tank system help

I've had a Brownells bluing tank system since new in 2010. The other day I light the bluing tank and it starts popping , similar to when a gas grill starts running out of gas. Then poof , nothing. Tried new tank and won't lite. Called Brownells and they say it's probably my regulator, so I order another. In the mean time , I cleared all burner holes , cleaned pipe , installed new LP orifice at air mixer. Today the new regulator , they call a gas grill adapter arrives and I connect everything and it lites but gives me a tiny 1/8 th inch flame with both valves completely open. I'm totally puzzled and Brownells now says it's the gas bottle manufacturer putting in substandard valves ........any help would be appreciated.

Your regulator for the gas grill is not flowing enough to keep up with the huge tank burners. You need an adjustable one like for a crawfish pot jet burner

Check the orfice, it’s where the hose ends, and has a few open sides to let air into the tube so the air / gas combination will burn.

What happens is a spider / moth will go in their and make a nest which won’t let the air / gas mix right. Clean it out and you’ll be good to go.

You may have tripped the 'excess flow safety' in the propane tank. I have seen this many times. To reset, shut the main valve on the tank off, remove the connection, open the burner valves, wait a few minutes. Then hook everything back up, close the burner valves, and SLOWLY open the main tank valve. Then try the burners again.

Let me know if this works.
Hope it helps,

Frank
