Is someone making Broughton 5C barrels now?

No. As far as I know Broughton barrels had closed shop. I have a M24 profile Broughton barrel in a 243 Tight Neck that Mike Bryant build years ago. Shoots very small group to this day.

I wish I would have grabbed 2 or 3 of them.

I have a 6x47 Lapua that won’t die. 2600 or so rounds and still shoots as good as it ever has.

I heard essentially the same thing but it's been a few years ago now and still crickets. No idea if we'll ever see them again or not. Very good barrels though. I prefer 4 grooves but they shoot just fine ime.

I love Broughton’s. But even if the new owner ever does get it up and running he may or may not have Harold Broughton’s hands.. Let’s hope for both.

Phenomenal barrels. My 260 REM was built on a heavy contour Broughton in 2010, and 2,000+ rounds later it is still a laser, even after multiple exposures to ultra hot and heavy prairie dog fire

I've got a Broughton 5C on one of my 22 rfs.
It's a hummer.
