Broughton barrels 2010 delivery

I was wondering if anyone on this forum had information on Broughton barrels current delivery schedule. I tried emailing them but got no response-also no response to a phone message I left with the company. Thanks, Chuck

I ordered my first Broughton feb. of 2010. Was told it would be 11 weeks. Got a call on the 11th week that my barrel was done and would ship the next day. Barrel arrive appox. 4 days after call. I ordered 2 more in june for a 6brx project and was told 14 weeks. Again Tim called and said my barrels were done and would ship the next day. They both arrived in 5 days. I'm having nothing but great results out of Broughton! Keep calling!! You will be glad you did!!

I talked to Tim 2 weeks ago and he said about 8-12 weeks for a .30 cal barrel. It takes around 8 weeks to manufacture a barrel.

In early August, I was told 12 weeks for a Broughton barrel by my smith who deals with them frequently. They are one heck of a fine barrel.

I ordered a #3.1, 6.5mm, 5c, 8 twist on 4 May. It was delivered to my gunsmith last week of August.

There is a lot of good fellas around here that stock most of the popular barrels by some of the top makers. Thud has or has had some in stock as well as my good friend Chris mackey (savageguy) Bruno's Ron Hoen and other to name a few. Ron might even have a broughton?? Good luck and enjoy! Lee

Brux barrels is about 5-7 weeks out for any caliber.

12 weeks turned into 18, I think it depends on if he knows you as to how fast you will receive your barrels.

I ordered mine in the end ofmarch of this year and it was delivered to the gunsmith towards the end of June. so around 10-12 weeks.

A few years ago I ordered a .22 cal. rimfire barrel. Prepaid. It was delivered on schedule but was contoured incorrectly. Tim North said he would get another barrel sent out in a few weeks. Ok, great. After several months of oh, I forgot and we have tooling problems and more I forgot about you again, etc. I asked for a refund. Well, guess what, he forgot about that too. Finally got the refund a week or so later than promised. He might make great barrels, but I will not do business with him again.
