Brother having heart surgery

Baby brother has to undergo quadruple bypass heart surgery tomorrow. Hit him suddenly, indigestion, shortness of breath.
Just 55. He is in good hands at Charlotte, went to visit tonight - 2 hour round trip. I'd rather be in hell with my back broke than to be in Charlotte or any big city. He's my only sibling, younger, I did what big brothers do.

Prayers for your brother. I know personally about the miracle of modern medicine and God when it comes to heart surgery. After a significant heart attack followed by three stints and an artificial heart pump for a week, then a triple bypass, and later three more stints, and five years of exercise I got a medical report that my heart and lungs were functioning well enough to likely pass a fitness exam for fire fighters. Big picture lesson learned, never ever give up on your faith and follow through on the recovery plan. If he ever needs some one to talk too, I am always available.

I had a triple bypass at 53. Modern medicine and technology is truly a miracle! I have no doubt he will do great! They’ll have him up and walking the next day. Keep him walking and he’ll feel better faster. Make sure he does cardiac rehab, it did wonders for me. Hadn’t felt that good in years after that! Wishing you all the best!!
