Broken shell extractors???

Who makes a '6mm-.243' broken shell extractor? Brownell shows them but they don't stock them anymore. Midway doesn't have them in .243. Been all over the web looking but no luck so far.
If you have a .308 and .223 extractor from the same maker you could change the tips and remove a 22BR broken case. What can you do for a 6BR,.243)broken case while 'at the range'?
Lots of .223,.308 and SKS stuff out there but I can't find anything for a 6mm,.243). Anybody know where to get a extractor for .243? I'am still looking. ;)Thanks Mike.

Take a brand new 6mm,or larger) cleaning brush on the end of a cleaning rod, preferrably a short one). Stuff it into the chamber, until some of the bristles wedge in front of the case. Then pull backwards on the cleaning rod.

Take a T-handle for a tap..drill bit extension...drill bit that will go in the body but not thru the neck..push it in until it engages the shoulder then turn...case will break loose and come out..

I pulled a 243 case out last week with a cheap Outers brush and t handle that came with a box I ordered. I think the brush was for a 45 or something big like that. Worked real good. It was free too. : )

I had to pull a barrel off another gun and use a 7/16 Tap very carfully.

Thanks guys. All the 'little tricks', under size taps, oversize brushes etc., are good to know but,'someone' has to make a dedicated .243/6mm broken case extractor.
I've got the .223 for the AR and 30.06 that will work on my M1A and I don't go to the range without them. Sure saved the day by having them handy. The M1A broken case extractor is a must have.
Never had a broken case in my BR rigs but you know, sooner or later it's going to happen. Thanks guys for your input.

I have a 1/8-27 NPT tap in my range box for that very reason. I had problems with some 22 BR brass. I thread it into the seperated case and use a cleaning rod to tap it out.
works
