Not a bad weekend for a match! Really nice temperatures, reasonable winds, and good folks to share the line with –how could you ask for more?
As a bonus, this match and everyone's generosity allowed us to raise over $1,300 for the DSSA to help fund ongoing legal battles! Thank you!

First, I want to thank everyone for their patience regarding our delay today –it went on longer than I anticipated, but we still finished up at a reasonable time. Thank you for understanding.
Next, as always, a HUGE thank you to George and Nikki for all that they do –stats, grass cutting, porta-pooper moving… It all adds up to a lot of work. And George’s work isn’t done until well after most of us leave for home. Please thank them the next time you see them.
Also, as always, a Big THANK YOU to folks that help to setup and teardown the targets. A bit of work on the front end and back end means no pit duty –not a bad trade off, though I miss the pits and the camaraderie that went with that job…
On to notable notes –please welcome Ethan Burton and Adam Scholl to our Bridgeville Family! Not new shooters, but new to us! I hope you guys had fun and will join us again soon.
In other news, I think Herb may have made High Master this weekend –he certainly shot well, posting a nice 989-53X. Nicely done, Herb –hope it pushes you over the top.
In other, other news, Mike McNair posted a personal best single match this weekend, with a 198-6X on match #2 today. In F-T/R. Well done, Mike!
OK, OK, on to the results…
In F-T/R, Todd Norfleet posted a nice 980-37X, followed by Mike McNair at 964-25X –that was it. We gotta get more T/R shooters out here!
In F-Open, Gwen Basalla took the win, firing a nice 992-55X. Great shooting, Gwen! Glad you were able to hold on to it for both days.
Henry Ferris wasn’t too far behind Gwen, firing a nice 992-51X. My kingdom for just one more point! Good job, Henry!
One point back was Dave Kokoszka, who fired a nice 991-54X. Good shooting, Dave!
Over on the sling side of the firing line, Jason Epperly took the win, firing a great 993-56X with his iron-sighted .308 Palma rifle and little bitty 155’s. Great shooting Jason!
Only a little bit back was Joe Fogg, also firing a Palma rifle and 155’s to a score of 991-45X. Nicely done, Joe!
Rounding out the top three was Madonna Nedza, firing an Any Rifle to a score of 977-39X. Well done, kiddo!
I really do hope that everyone had enough fun that they are going to join us for our next Mid-Range weekend on September 13th and 14th. This match is a two day aggregate, with three 20 shot matches each day all from 600 yards.
Our next LONG-RANGE match will be our Mid-Atlantic Regional on September 26-28. The Regional this year will be ‘No Frills’ due to our hosting of the F-Class Long-Range Fullbore National Matches in October this year.
It is still a Regional match though, so give some thought to coming out then and having some fun with us.
