Brass question

After cleaning, trimming & annealing some 30 br brass ,I checked the cases with a Sinclair bump gauge using the XL comparator body. Out of 100 brass, 22 measured 3.127-3.1275" & the rest measured 3.129-3.130". These brass were from a previous 30br I had ,but were recently shot out of the 30br I currently own. Is this normal to have this range in measurement ? Should the brass be bumped to all one size or shot again in hopes that they'll be more consistant?

Did you actually measure after annealing or after annealing and shooting once.If you measured after annealing only, the heating and cooling will change measurments as you are taking the springiness out of the hardened metal and metal like wood has some memory. Just size and shoot and resize and see what you get.
