Brass Prep, Using Once Fired Brass From Another Gun

Never done this before...seriously
And my Google Foo, isn't finding much...

OK, I bought some once fired Lapua 6.5 CM brass from a guy.
It was shot out of his 6.5 CM (Tikka I believe)
My gun is a Savage LRP 6.5 CM, with a Bartlien barrel (SAAMI chamber)

I'll keep it short...

What brass prep do I need to do, to shoot the once fired brass from another 6.5 CM gun, in my 6.5 CM?

Thanks

Do you measure you case head to datum when setting up your sizing die?

I would measure the OD of the fired necks on brass from both rifles.
I would measure the case head to datum on brass fro both rifle.

I the used brass you bought is a smaller fired case neck and a shorter case head to datum, then I would try to chamber a case prior to sizing. If it chambers, fine and size with your die set for your rifle's chamber. If it doesn't chamber, then size it with the die set for your rifle and check to see if it chamber.
