Brass Prep - This tool will make life easier (AND save TIME)

Saw the Lee APP released last year and all sold immediately and then the price went UP.

I have a couple Lee products on my reloading bench. Lee Universal Decapping Die - should be on EVERY bench. Use a couple sets of their dies as well.

Recently purchased some crimped primer 308 brass and the excitement stops, as soon as the delivery to my house is made, as I know, the work begins then. Ugh....brass prep. Deprime, clean, swage, size, trim, inside/outside chamfer. ALL of these = TIME!!!

Purchased a Lee APP, universal case feeder, and the primer pocket swager. At this point, have only set up and use the Lee APP and universal case feeder.

To say I am impressed with decapping 950 cases in one hour, is an understatement. Yes, there is some fine tuning to do, but NINE HUNDRED AND FIFTY CASES deprimed in one hour?

Will clean this evening and set up for some swaging..

Shop around, prices vary, sometimes considerably.

I switched over to the Might Armory decapper/swage die about 2 yrs ago, no adjustment of the die to switch between the decap and swage functions. Just dig out the swage button and rod, go to swaging. The decap pins are hardened steel, have not broke one yet in several thousand 223 crimped cases.

Another Mighty Armory FAN !!!!
I let it get loose, bent the decapper pin NINETY DEGREES. I called, told them how I screwed up, they sent me one free.
At a later date after doing several k of LC223 and 2k of 9mm, I bent the goof up back straight (ish) - No cracking or breakage......really TUFF and well designed and made.....and have processed another 2+k of LC. Nooooo problems.
I had previously used the Lee for several years and went through several rods, tightening and retightening...... :-/
Be nice to yourself and go Mighty Armory. You will NEVER regret it.

Edit to add: I set up an auto ejector (large hose clamp - check youtube) and could run 12-15 per minute without pushing.

Would one be able to use this: Might Armory decapper / swager die with the Lee APP!

Thanks

Steve M.

I am using their decapper and it works great.
Also I SIZED and decapped 5000 pieces of 9mm one weekend using a RCBS carbide die instead of a decapper on the Lee
