Brass Prep the 6mmX47 Lapua

One quick question reguarding uniform the primer pockets, do you use a small rifle or PPC/BR uniformer? I have both from Sinclair not sure what the difference is between the 2.
Thanks in advance,

Buzz

Maybe I am just not knowing but I use a small rifle uniformer for my 6.5x47 Lapua brass, whether you neck it down to 6mm or not. I am not aware of a difference between that and a PPC uniformer, they both use a small rifle primer), and I use the same tool for my PPC brass as I do the 6.5 x 47 Lapua brass.

I always used the standard small pocket cutter till I switched to the Lapua brass, I was told the Lapua BR or 220 Russian brass primer pocket is deeper, Sinclair made a different uniformer just for that. For what it's worth, I do see improvements in my BR and PPC.

I quit reaming primer pockets...depth mic showed I wasn't cutting any better than lapua factory, less than 0.002" spread in depth)
