Brass necks

How important is it (accuracy) after brass has been neck turned and fired, should you be able to insert a bullet into that case that was just fired with minimum finger pressure? If not and your loaded cartridge diameter is .002 under chamber size what is the symptom besides turning more off of the neck diameter? Or does this not matter from an accuracy stand point?

Your answer is here; listen carefully: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=7D85822FD9E41FF2 Each video/part automatically transitions into the next one.

You may or may not be able to insert a bullet into a fired case....remember---the case has sprinback and most lkely has carbon inside the neck. Just measure outside the neck of a loaded round over the pressure ring of a flat base bullet with .0001" micrometer. Then calculate clearance knowing your inside neck diameter. If you have .002" clearance, you're ok. Shoot and be happy!!!.......gpoldblue
