Brass cleaning tip ? More info added

In the Aug issue of Guns, John Conner talks about using Lizard litter to clean and polish brass .It was time to change one of my tumblers so I picked up a 5 quart bag of Desert Blend Ground English Walnut Shells.It worked great and for less than $7.The best part it is fine enough so that it doesn`t get stuck in the primer pocket holes. My hats off to John for this great tip.Every now and then a blind squirrel finds a acorn .BOB
Got it at PET MART I think most pet stores will have it or something like it.Not Wal Mart or K Mart .He also recommended to add a 1/2 cap of car polish every time you used it.Not Car Wax!!.Also cut up 1 inch strips of used dryer sheets will keep dust down and picks up a lot of crud.I haven`t tried this yet

PetCo and most any good pet store carries it. Works excellent in vibratory tumblers.
My tip: Add a little bit of Flitz, run the tumbler for 5min to mix, then add your brass. This combination produces jewelry-like shine.

PetCo too.. I've been using this for years. It's dusty for the first several batches though.... that fine dust that cakes everywhere.

I don't use the lid on my vibratory.
