boyds stocks for axis left hand right action?

does anyone know if there are plans to simply make this option available they are making left hand stock left action . seems simple to just put bolt cutout on other side. i put in a request. i tried to order one and went all way through thinking some where they were going to ask me to specify which side for action . i called and they told me it wasnt available i can only imagine its a matter of time before they get it programed into machine . does anyone know if this is on way ?

I have seen a left bolt in a right stock. The owner cut out the wood for safety and bolt handle. It looked like hell but it worked.

I am also left handed and wanted something like you want. What I did was buy a left hand blank and took it to a local smith who inlet it for me. That is probably the best route.

There are a lot of issues with Richards MicroFit stocks. But they will make a right bolt, left shooter and vice versa.

Can you elaborate what 'lots of issues' is? Well, they are slow to ship, but who isn't these days. Although I have had reasonably good luck with three of their stocks, a lot of guys have complained about the fit.

And are you coming to Ohio this summer? Yes, we sold our motorhome and we are buying a house in Ohio.

correct me if i am wrong but richards dos not make a stock for the axis yet or will the curret savage model 10 with dbm fit and just have to have lug installed in fore end ?
