Boyd, congratulation on your 4000th post on this forum. I think I am reading the numbers correctly and it happened today. A lot of those technical post have been very helpful to me. Thanks for all your contributions to this sport and this forum.

He has done a great job and should be appreciated for it. Very smart man !! I read everything I see that he posted.

Boyd has taken the time to help me a great deal with my first 6ppc.
Not only on this forum and by pm
He has went beyond that and taken the time to speak with me over the phone several times.

Thanks Boyd for sharing the things you have learned over the years

Well done - Great effort !
I'm sure i'm like everybody else on here, but i've learning a great deal from Boyd's posts !!
Thanks Boyd

I think the site should do a bulletin article about Mr. Allen, Mr. Allen ( turned 65) has done product writing on benchrest related products, and up until a few years back, shot a few matches at the Visalia range. He has a degree in construction management, but has done a lot of things that did not relate to that. Decades back, He was the head of a committee that oversaw, and did a lot of labor, building an impressive range, at a local club, and served a two year term as the club's president after that. He always has been a reader, and to the some extent, an experimenter.

Boyd has been and is an invaluable asset to all of us who enjoy and participate in this blog. He willingly has contributed years of practical experiences and personal knowledge to help many of us to become better shooters and reloaders. Boyd goes the extra mile in helping answers the same questions many of us lesser informed folk, share and does so for the betterment of all. So thank you Boyd and stick around so we can continue to learn from your vast knowledge.

Boyd;

Great informative article in this months magazine on reading the wind. It is the biggest problem in benchrest "group shooting".
Me ? I'll take a headwind every time . ( but how often do we get that condition ?
One needs to shoot more than I do to figure it out completely, and I started to late and too little, so I do what I can . On the bright side, shooting against HOF people brings out the best in everyone. You will find that at the Super Shoot !
