Bottom Metal

I have a Stiller Predator action with a fluted bolt and don't like the way the bolt binds up with the bottom metal as you push it closed. What type of bottom metal would you recommend?
I will also post a picture, I don't know what brand/make this is.

I don't know the proper terminology, but that would make sense. It's not the spring or the housing that contains it. It is the shape (I'm guessing) of the surface that pushes the round upwards that seems to cause the problem.

Are you shooting this as a single shot and not wanting the mag to get in the way when you close the bolt? If so, you need a single shot follower.

If that isn't it then you need to expect to either have shells in the mag or reach in and push the mag down a little as you push the bolt forward. This is the nature of the beast.
