Bottom Fodder achieves goal with pistol @ Dasher DOME

Thanks for another great write up and pictures birdog.
Who says the Strikers won't shoot? In their factory stock they are brute rugged and accurate in the field. I guarantee you will cuss before you get the trigger where you want it.
I was surprised how good the trigger was.

You can actually get the factory triggers to feel pretty nice. but it takes hours and hours of work. Not to mention the frustrations you will go through. Without exaggerating I'll bet I have 40 hours of labor in mine. I know that there was three versions of the trigger, mine is the first version which I think is probably the easiest to work on. The Strikers don't get the credit they deserve.

Of the three strikers I’ve got this one has the best trigger not sure which version it is., it was ruff but after 3 barrels and pulling it probably 10000 times it smoothed it self out lol. To me it’s more about what you get use to, I know this trigger. And yes the Striker is the red headed step son compared to XP’s . I’ve got 4 Xp’s that I could tell you the last time I shot them but all of my Strikers have shot in the last month. There again I like Mcgown barrel most people thank their gunk

When I bought the Striker I had 4-XPs, one 700 in a rear grip Mcmillan,, one Savage PTA with a McGowan barrel, several Contenders and Encores. I found it dirt cheap and it appeared to have spent its life sitting someplace and not shot. I bought it because I didn't have one and I wanted to see why everyone complains about them.
