As I progress through my custom ammo loading journey, I’d like to keep an eye on the barrel and bore. Any thoughts on a decent tool to do this? Thank you

This has been kicked around a dozen times. If you're new to a borescope, get the Teslong version that plugs into your phone. It's cheap and is more than enough to overwhelm you.
There's a learning curve with borescopes. Prepare yourself for things you aren't prepared to see. It takes time to decide what is or isn't important.
Ultimately, if your targets meet your expectations, don't obsess over less than perfect borescope images. If your targets are disappointing and you've tried a lot to develop a load, a borescope may well show you why.

Edit to add - I prefer the version that works with my phone because of the portability. I can take that thing anywhere with minimal fuss.

It might be worth mentioning that they are great for watching the progress of fire cracking in the throat, looking for carbon rings, monitoring rifling wear, carbon and copper buildup, etc. - but translating the horrors you will see when bore-scoping into poor performance can be quite tricky. I've got great looking, nearly flawless (comparatively) barrels that don't shoot as good as ones that look like a gravel road and defy logic. Whatever make and model you choose would be well served if it can take photos and/or video and has blue tooth capability if not fed directly into your phone. It is really nice to have reference to look back on a year or more later to compare with.

As mentioned here, a Teslong is the easy and relatively inexpensive item to add to your kit.
I have the version that has its own screen, flexi cable & a selection of mirror ends to suit various bore diameters, and charger. It comes in a small “Hard Box” and lives in my vehicle, is always available to assist others at the range.
I can take photos as well as videos and then download that to a computer, send them off in an email or if someone wants their own records I can record onto their own SD card.
If you want the top end product and can afford it, the Hawkeye is the standard by which all others are measured.

I even played for awhile using one of my Teslongs to check for incipient case head separation. Fun, but pretty much a waste of time in the end. As mentioned earlier, the flex models are sure handy to stick in your pocket for those visits to a shop to consider buying a used gun.
