Does the coating still come off? I bought several years ago from Sinclair and the coating came off of every one of them. Sinclair warrantied them and had quitea collection going at that years Super Shoot. Loved the handles.

i have like 6 of them and no issues so far....probably owned for 2 years now

Bore Tech rod rubbing against steel the coating will wear off. Bore Tech rod rubbing against brass muzzle guide doesn't wear off. I have (3) Bore Tech rods and prefer them.

coating chipped on one but small and still serviceable. i switched to polished Ivy roda, bit handle ones, a long time ago.

I have probably 10 Bore Tech rods, 3 sets for 6mm for different rifles (40" through 50") and the only time the coating ever came off was because of my stupidity, I love the big handles for a firm grip.
