Can someone explain the advantages/disadvantages of a Krieger "Palma" barrel with a .3075 bore as compared to .308? I bought one and before I build something with it I need to know if I screwed up or????

A reputable gunsmith said the smaller bore would have a longer bore life. I think they were designed for the 155 gr bullets. I think it had something to do with British bullets being a smaller diameter when having Palma matches. I have a 307 bore on a custom build and it wont shoot the 168 or 175 FGMM factory ammo worth a flip, 3/4" @100.Thats the only ones I've tried so far but I feel the 155's will be the ticket but its a 1in13 twist.
