So as far as they go what do you guys prefer? Looking at a teslong, with the screen. Is the flexible probe ok, or should I be looking towards the rigid one.or is there another brand/model that is better in the same range? Thank you

For the $$ you can't go wrong. I've got the flexible probe with the screen, and works fine for my needs. the smaller screen is ok with me as it's much easier to place it on the work bench, and just turn it on. This model has a SD card so you can take pics as needed and upload to a PC.

I have the one with the screen. I hate it. I'd much rather just use a decent android tablet.

have had a Hawkeye for over 15 years and have never regretted the purchase. Cutting corners on optics has always seemed to come back and bite me somehow. I now do not do any cheap optics any more, rifle scopes, spotting scopes or bore scopes. Hurts once but they are a life long investment. Have also used the Hawkeye when working on machinery and autos.

I have the teslong and I connect it to my MAC book. It is a bit of a hassle but I get a very clean large image. I talk and explain what I see as I sm videoing the bore and save it for future reference.

My Teslong worked very well until it didn't.
Never used much, always avoided bending it, don't know what happened other than typical Chinese junk, doing what it always does.

I'm sure they will take care of it if you contact them. They had an issue with the adhesive on the mirror when they 1st started up. The Chinese guy mailed everyone who purchased one spare parts to repair it. Haven't heard of anyone else ever doing that. I haven't used them yet as I've never had an issue. Hooks to my laptop , nothing I don't like about it. It's not a Hawkeye but I don't need 1.

My scope is over a year out of warranty but they're paying the shipping back for them to check out anyway. I'll update this when I learn what is going to happen. I'll have to admit, so far I'm impressed.

I wanted to update what I started in this thread and here it is. My scope was at least a year out of warranty but they paid the shipping both ways plus gave me a new cable that connects to the computer, the scope itself was fine.

I was wrong about Teslong and should have contacted them before coming here and publically talking junk about them and for that, I apologize.
Apparently, they are serious about supplying us with products.
