Bore Guides?

The reason Lucas is more money is because they are custom made to fit the chamber and then have the insert made to fit the rod. That is a lot more work and material. If you want cheap why not buy the adjustable Stoney point one that fits all guns. Matt
 
Well not getting solvent in the action is just one of 2 things that a good bore guide will prevent. You buy one of those cheap ones and your rod flexes and scrapes against your rifling is a bigger issue. $50.00 is pretty cheap insurance for spending 5-600.00 on a barrel and chambering job.
