Bore guides again.

Tried to order possum hollow or any other guide with the o-ring at Midway as they carry them. I was told that they don't fit my rifles, they are brand specific. I have 2 Pandas and a Rem xr100. I have a 6ppc, 6br and a 30br . Help would be appreciated.

In that case @Link would want a #3 and a #4 Possum Hollow guide and a .17 to .26 caliber solvent port.

I don't know what Midway is currently selling but in my XP's I use the Midway bore guides I bought 15-20 years ago. They were listed as Rem short action one for the small cal and another for the large bores. The solvent port slips into the back of the bore guide.

Mr. Lucas made me a Custom Bore guide for my Mosin Open rifle about five years ago , and since the rifle has a .308 Barrel , the guide also fits my Kelby Panda , too . Great piece and excellent quality . Don't remember what I paid for it , but worth every penny .

My kelby stolle ppc is#3 30br is#5 and i use them with bat ds also.
6bra is#4.
They are all .697 bodies so i don't think that is an issue. Just have to have the correct size chamber end.
Mine do not have the rod inner thing.

I called a few times over the last few days. I always get an automated response, "the provider you are trying to reach is not available".

I'm interested in getting a bore guide for a custom 7PRC. The bolt diameter is .704".

As someone mentioned in another thread, get two rod guides when ordering from Mike to keep one rod set up for a brush.

you can make the bore guide work by changing the O-ring bigger or smaller, fatter, thinner...it's my shadetree way
