boosting scope magnification

I have a Leopold 6-18X that I would like to get closer to 30X, I've seen references that people have had someone increase the scopes magnification by 2 or 3X. Any idea were I can get that done and has anyone done it to your scope? How much are we talking about and how well did it work?

AFAIK no one is boosting variable scopes at this time. Premier Reticle used to boost Leupold variables, but they're no longer working on Leupolds of any description.
