Hey all new guy here, Looking for the best most informative, comprehensive book on wind and mirage...could some you post your thoughts on this ?

The Wind Book for Rifle Shooters is a far, far superior book. For starters, it isn't a low-res photo-copy of some lecture notes and slides The authors are both competitive rifle shooters, and on questions where there may be more than one opinion... they polled some of the top Fullbore shooters in Canada & the U.S. for their views.

Getting out there and shooting in the wind is the best teacher, but this sure helps smooth out the learning curve by helping show you what to look *for*.

Good to know, I just ordered that book on another recommendation.

I like Top Owen's book though. It's to the point, particularly driven to match high power type shooting.

Absolutely shooting is the best way, but you do need a start point.

I need to get that book too.. I had seen it.. but never had anyone give me any feedback on it.. I also need to break down and get "Ways of the Rifle" too!
