Bolt will not close on some Factory Ammo????

All good advice, but several years ago a fellow I camped next to on a deer hunt had the same issue. His 7mm Remington Magnum wouldn't chamber 7 of the 20 rounds in a box of brand new Federal Premium ammunition. This was not a new rifle, had functioned flawlessly for years and he was an experienced shooter who kept his firearms immaculate. Sometimes it's just the ammo.

Had tried from magazine and single. Didn't matter.

I took it to smith and he said that's normal for a tight chamber. He took the tightest round and closed bolt and fired it. No issue and primer looked good. Said if it was too small chamber, the primer would looked spilled over.

So I guess no need to worry. Fire on!

What does "spilled over" look like? Really got me wondering.

primer coming out of the pocket after firing. it was still flush.
