Does anyone know if I can use a bolt from a xp 35 remington for 308 size cases without any modification there is 13 thousands difference in head size 35 is .460 308 is .473 rem40xb1@msn.com

I don't think that .013 would hurt you and think the extractor would pull the brass. I don't know if the bolt will fit and then it will have to be headspaced.

I purchased a XP100 in 35 Remington and I was going to rebarrel it in a different caliber. I was wondering if I was going to have to mess with the bolt face or if it will work on a .473 case Ross

If your using that XP bolt in a XP action you'll have no problems, my .284 XP action came from a 35 Remington, and so did my 22BR, and my 25/284, and my .243 AI...

I don't believe you'll have a problem; I use a .308 bolt face,.473") with PPC cases,.449) in a Gilkes-Ross action so if the 35 Rem is even larger... as long as the headspace is accounted for when rechambering, you should be safe.
