Bolt lug sizes

Are the bolt lugs on a 722 or 722 a differnt size then the 7oo?
I'm talking about the actual height of the front lugs on the bolt. also the width.

Thanks Looks like the receiver is well worn then.
Do you think Kiff could make a bolt to take out the slop?
I get that click at the top and it's very very sloppy.
The timing is ok though.

The CLICK effect-
The extraction cam in the bolt handle is dinged up from slamming into the rear receiver ring's drafted extraction cam angle.

Breech Face dimensions are a few thou different on 722/721's,.148')compared to 700/40X's,.150').

Twin-- Kiff can make you a bolt to take out the slop, but you will be better served if you bore out the bolt race way to the dimensions of the new .705 ?? bolt he will send.
Most of the receivers are different diameters front to back, and the new race way will be a plus along with the new bolt...

That puppy is really sloppy at the rear. I bet it was made that way. there's more then .010

The Dave Kiff bolt is very nicely made. It's a bit oversize and meant to be fitted. Mine was installed by Greg Tannel. I don't know how much smaller he made it but now it's .697'-.698'. That diameter is about .003' larger than the factory bolt which still has most of it's jeweling.
