Bolt fluting group buy - a few pics of bolts heading home

Hey Guys,

Thought you might enjoy some pics of a few finished bolts heading home. I like how the fluting wraps around the M16 extractor. Managed to flute the second bolt without scratching the new Cerakote that had just been applied. More to follow. ;D

Not sure how the fishing picture got in there. LOL. ;D

Regards, Paul

Hey Guys,

I received a Remington bolt from Mr. Pearson from Springfield,MO for fluting. No order form, no form of payment, and no phone #. Anybody know who this may be? Mr. Pearson are you out there? :o

Thanks, Paul

And supper was good I bet. :D

Gabe,

Supper was excellent. Nothing like the taste of high mountain (7100 ft.) Rainbow trout. And only 20 minutes from the house. Living the dream. Thanks guys.

Regards, Paul

Thanks for not scratching the bolt! The bolt looked pretty crummy B4 I cerakoted it. Looks nice now for a hunting rig. Not so purty is the round ugly knob though :-[ . I hate those tactical knobs for shoving through the brush. Good job Paul :). I will look forward to its arrival.

Hi, what can be done to eliminate the jeweling before fluting? I wouldn't be interested in coating it, but don't like the look of the jeweled fluted mix. Can you duplicate a Rem TI bolt, handle and all? Thanks, Tim

Just a few minutes with some 400/600 wet/dry takes it right off.....no biggie.
