bolt fit model 7 to xr 100 ?

Will a model 7 bolt work in a xr 100 receiver. i would like to make a switch barrel and bolt on my xr 100. Thank you for any help and info.

I would do a search and field that question to preacher or butch lambert.Their are other smiths on this site and they may chime in,and they will know also. You could also call gretan rifles or sid goodling rilfes as they work with remmys alot along with a myriad of others.

Yes, they are for the same length action but, you will have to have the new bolt fitted to the action.
