Bobby Hart Stocks sold by Stocky's

I have one made of nice looking walnut and I had to bed it anyways due to such poor contact with the bedding block caused by inconsistancy of the reciever itself. It is handsome and looks like it could ride the bag ok when I get a chance to actually shoot the darn thing. It is very cold up here.

I bedded mine also, my receiver to block was okay but I thought it would add surface contact area because of the way the Hart blocks are made...Couldn't hurt, plus it fits the lug in nicely.

I have 3 of the Long Range Tacticals, one on a 338 Ultra mag, 6.5 WSM and a 308 that I use for just punching paper and some F T/R class.
I recently finished a 338 Ultra mag that went to a friend of mine in Montana on one. I highly recommend them, the fit and finish is a 99 out of 100 and a good deal for the money if you like wood over synthetic.

I tried one with aluminum block and didn't care for it ( it is not worth the extra $100 ) ( plus they had problems with them cracking, and if yours cracks and you did anything to the stock like bedding, the manufacturer ( Keystone sporting arms ) will tell you that you altered it and that VOIDS the warranty. I had to argue with them for 30 minutes just to get him to send me one without the bedding block in return. ) So spend the money on some Devcon and bed it your self. Just my .02

It cracked in the top part of the grip behind the trigger guard thru towards the rear of the stock. When I called stockys to tell them I had Bobby Hart stock that cracked, the first words out of her mouth was " is it one with the aluminum bedding block? That brought up a red flag right away. She told me to contact the manufacturer. They said that 41 stocks with the block had cracked and been returned.
Now do you want the block?
