BN coated DTAC 115 - is BC improved enough to beat 105 Hybrid?

I was considering buying some BN coated DTAC 115 bullets for my 6mm Creedmoor, but I don't see any G1 or G7 BC data for them. Does anyone know if the Boron Nitride coating improves the BC at all?

HbN will not change BC and there is no bullet currently better than the 105 Hybrid.

In my 6mm Competition Match rifles I run them in 7.5 twist Krieger's at 3150 - 3275.

That's a number touted by David Tubb years ago when he introduced the DTAC. Litz tested it and calculated a BC of .538 in his latest book...

Meanwhile, the 105 hybrid has a tested BC of .545 and weighs 10 grains less.....its hands-down the better bullet.

Bryan tested the old ones, before Tubb started pointing them. Pointing them increased the BC.

btw, the Matrix Ballistics 117 VLD has a significantly higher BC than the pointed DTAC. It's longer and has a very small metplat. When I fired them side-by-side in a round robin at the same velocity at 800 yards, the 117 VLD displayed several inches less drop and less wind drift.

I just got a hold of some dtacs that were ran through another bullet press by a fella that got out of the bullet making business a few years back. They are impacting 20" higher at 1k than the dtacs not ran through the press from the same box. This would put the G7 around .315 and definitely make it worth the extra weight. Not sure if these are going to make it to the market or not, shall see.

Pointed up DTAC's out of my rifle are close to .600 at 1k
in actual drop. I haven't shot any Hybrids so I can't say
how they compare but the DTAC's are very good.
