Bluing salts supplier and old salts?

Anyone have a source for bluing salts? Brownells has been out for some time now.

Secondary question, I have some old (9 years or more) oxynate No 7 that has separated into liquid and salts in the bottom of a bucket. Not sure I want to attempt to use it without some advice, otherwise ill have to neutralize it.

Du-Lite makes bluing salts. Any time you change brands of bluing salts, you need to discard what you have been using and start over. Cider vinegar and some PH test strips will neutralize the old mix. Gently heating the old mix will liquify the salts that have gone solid, but be careful. Break-up the salts as you heat them to prevent an eruption, which would spatter that caustic everywhere.
