BLOCK SCREWS

Was wondering if anybody might have a source for getting the tiny block screws for the sight holes on the left rear side of the Single Shot Stainless 700 and 40X actions. I tried the block screws for the scope base holes on top but they are too big. Thanks in advance.

Not sure about the new producton but the original ones were 6-48 just like the top base screw holes.

Yea, I tried to start those but seemingly those are too big for the holes.

mcmaster carr has screws that go very small. gotta know what size you want though. my olocal hwi hardware has screws smaller than 4. fastenal has them and i would think brownells but i didnt look.

Our local ACE hardware has gun screws and other screws Pretty large assortment all the way down to “0” should be able to find the size.
I found a 4-48 tap yesterday while doing some work. I bout the tap for something fun related I think.
