Black Nitride muzzle break

Morning fella's, ran a search but nothing really popped up or well within a year of today so thought I would ask. I' adding a muzzle break to a rifle with a CM barrel that has been bead blasted and blued but the break is SS so would like to match this as best I can and nitride came to mind but not sure who to send it too..... last I talked to H&M they had a $200 min. and well sorta hard to make a buck going that route!

Thought I would ask if anyone could point me in a direction or another plan thinking outside the box. Thanks in advance fella's, have a great day!

Nitride is very hard. Make sure all machine work is done prior to nitriding, if you go that route. Black oxide may be a workable option, too. IME, a perfect match is a bit of luck and pretty rare but a "close" match isn't so hard. Even with cm steel and bluing the whole rifle, the two steels can often be a shade off, though, especially a high polished finish. They show everything.
Some people don't mind the contrast of a ss brake on a blued bbl, too. The additional cost is sometimes what makes them like the contrast. Lol!
Cerakote is another option but brakes are tough on it, as is the cleaning.

How about Rustoleum or Kraylon high temp. black stove paint. If it starts to wear off just redo. Cheap alternative.

Duracoat Dura Blue Matte Blue Black. Has a spray can option with hardener for diy no spray gun.
Cerakote Socom Blue or Midnight Blue

If you were paying someone to install a break for you would you mind down the road touching up spray paint? if it were for me hell wouldn't mind at all BUT well it's not.

I think the SS muzzle brake will look good on there
